Balancing across the spring beam presents a challenge for the children, one they embrace with joy. Those who complete the course without dismounting are proud of their achievement. Even the youngest children enjoy trying it. Supported by the hand of their accompanying adult, they feel safe and attempt the adventurous balancing act. And those who have succeeded once will try again. The spring beam is a valuable piece of equipment for playfully training their sense of balance, motor skills, and spatial awareness.
The spring beam is approximately 4 meters long and hovers at a height of approximately 50 cm. It is connected to the ground via two sturdy yet flexible steel coil springs, which are securely anchored in a precast concrete foundation. The robust beam itself is made of pressure-treated wood, ensuring maximum durability and safety during play. The red dots attached to the side add vibrant color accents to the wooden beam and also serve as a scale indicating the distance in meters the child has already covered.
Certified according to current playground equipment guidelines, the espas spring beam meets all safety standards.
